I grew up in a suburb outside of Montreal, Quebec with a love for the outdoors and a passion for art. I hold a BFA in Photographic Studies and a MFA in Documentary Media. Photography and creativity are deeply rooted in my being as is striving to live a mindful and compassionate life.
I am a certified yoga instructor with 320 hours of yoga training. I completed my 200hr teacher training in Toronto, Ontario and have further certification to teach Restorative and Yin Yoga. Currently I am pursuing training to become a Certified Roll Model® Method Practitioner through Tune Up Fitness Worldwide. I am registered with the Yoga Alliance and am also a Reiki level 2 Practitioner.
I use a mélange of movement, breathing, and encouraging self-discovery in my teachings. My focus is towards disengaging the ‘flight-or-fight’ response by combining yoga, relaxation and self-care techniques, along with mindfulness to slow down the moment and foster the relationship that is built between the mind, body, and breath to develop a lifelong awareness to the importance of physical and emotional health.
