Yoga to me is what sunshine is to flowers. Yoga is freedom and letting go. Yoga can provide a wonderful opportunity to pause and observe, by slowing down the moment and fostering the relationship that is built between the mind, body, and breath. I believe that yoga can reduce stress, increase relaxation, and instill a sense of balance into one’s life. By being gentle and present, and creating a mind and body awareness, I strive to foster a safe and inviting environment for all participants. I am grateful to be able to share my knowledge with others and I am heart warmed to be able to help guide students along the personal growth of their yoga practice.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation which also promotes healing. It is used to reduce stress on the body and mind. The application of subtle energy work such as Reiki can promote balance and feelings deep relaxation. Reiki energy encourages the smooth release of tension, anxiety, fear, and other negative feelings. Reiki nurtures a state of peace and well-being is experienced.
I offer Reiki Treatments on their own as well as infusing elements of Reiki into my Yoga practice.
